Jugni Style presents: the South Asian Beauty Review. Each product reviewed is tried and tested by the Jugni Style team. We share what products work best for the various shades of South Asian skin.

The Product: W3LL People Pure Pigment Pot in Elitist No. 83 and W3LL People Luminist Luminizer/Bronzer No. 56

What Is It? Created by Shirley Pinkson, former corporate leader at NARS Cosmetics, this line brings luxury brand level pigment, something unheard of in natural, organic skin care lines. The Pure Pigment Pot in No. 83 is a mineral shimmer eye shadow in a gold/bronze shade, while the Luminist Luminizer in No. 56 is a sheer bronzer.

What’s Inside:
W3LL People makeup is free of almost every bad thing found in most mainstream makeup lines: paraben, chemicals, bismuth oxychloride, talc, petroleum, fragrance, and dye free.

What Jugni Style Loves: Everything! Instead of the quick fading, “natural” products found at drugstores and Sephora, W3LL People has amazing, rich, pigment-heavy makeup [click on photo left]. I use the Luminist bronzer/luminizer for a subtle glow, and I like the Elitist shadow more than the similar hued, Amber Lights shadow from MAC. Both W3LL People products go on easy, look great on lighter and darker shades of skin (tested on myself and a friend), and last an entire evening without creasing or fading. I have very sensitive skin and have no issues using this makeup line. A definite winner.

Our rating: I’m a convert! 4.5/5

W3LL People Pure Pigment Pot in Elitist No. 83, $16 and W3LL People Luminist Luminizer/Bronzer No. 56, $23. Available online at w3llpeople.com and Clary Sage Organics in San Francisco and San Jose.
