Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Sustainable clothing is the eco-"it"-item right now, and Vancouver-based Adhesif Clothing Company is making it more fashionable to help Mother Earth.

Jugni Style is always on the prowl for what’s new and hot in the fashion industry, and that’s why we couldn’t miss the grand opening of the new Adhesif Clothing flagship store in Vancouver.

We sipped on wine, nibbled on delish hors d'oeuvres, enjoyed music by two oh so cute accordion players and browsed through dozens of Adhesif Clothing’s 2010 Spring-Summer Collection.

Vancouver-based designer, Melissa Ferreria is the brain child behind Adhesif Clothing Co. At a young age, this talented fashionista taught herself to sew and has been experimenting with textiles ever since.

The eco-friendly collection plays with colours, shapes and textiles to create one-of-a-kind edgy garments. The clothing is made from recycled fabrics that have an attitude and personality all of their own. And the best part? The line of garments are not only made from sustainable materials, but are also locally produced in Vancouver, BC.
