Blender’s Pride Fashion Tour takes Indian designer fashion on the road, with designers and celebrities presenting capsule collections across the country.

The tour includes 50 shows, 13 designers and six cities across India. Designers featured this season include Ashish N Soni, Asmita Marwa, Gavin Miguel, Mandira Wirk, Nandita Mahtani, Neeta Lulla, Nida Mahmood, Pankaj & Nidhi, Raghavendra Rathore, Falguni & Shane Peacock, Shantanu & Nikhil, Vikram Phadnis, and Wendell Rodricks.

Our favourite piece: the men’s achkan (see above) by Vikram Phadnis in cream brocade. The dupatta/shawl with embroidered border and striped panel is stunning.

The Regal: Vikram Phadnis

Vikram Phadnis didn’t veer far from his usual designer aesthetic. Things we liked: the dupatta with thick blue border and gold embroidery (bottom right), the long, gold embroidered kurta top paired with yellow lengha and dupatta with royal blue accents (below left), and his generous use of cream brocade.

Neon Parade: Wendell Rodricks + Nandita Mahtani

While the rest of the fashion world has graduated past neon clothing, Wendell Rodricks presented a bright collection of mini dresses, kaftans and maxis (see below) in various shades of neon. Designer Nandita Mahtani also showed a neon maxi (seen above on actress Bipasha Basu) with a hint of embroidery on the bottom hem.
