A mix of the abstract and historic, Spectacular Sangeet at the Surrey Art Gallery is worth a visit to the ‘burbs.

Spectacular Sangeet is the Surrey Art Gallery’s latest exhibition of performance and theatrics, spanning old Bollywood films to the intimate spaces of community traditions. The group exhibition featuring British and Canadian artists, and remixes digital design, new media, and contemporary art with generous helpings of humour, fun, and a dash of irony. We loved local artist Ron Sangha’s work, as well as the striking charcoal pieces by John Shadbolt.
