Oh Sabyasachi, we think we're in love. This talented designer ended the third day of Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive with lots of colour and distinct touches, with his garments moving in perfect harmony between style, silhouette and form.

The Bengali designer presented an interesting look from the Northwest frontier provinces, including styles favoured by girls in Patiala, as well as touches of Kathak and Kathakali for the silhouettes, evoking images of ethereal dancers on the runway.

Using khadi, organza, net, silk, and velvet, complimented by beautiful thread work from Kashmir and Zardozi embroidery in shimmering silver floral designs, Sabyasachi presented a collection with restrained bling, resulting in an utterly satisfying experience of beautiful Indian fashion.

Key trends: sheer fabrics, floral prints, pure fabrics, subtle embroidery, and volume.
