Indian Summer is a meteorological phenomenon referring to an unexpectedly sunny period, and Vancouver experienced just that during the Indian Summer Festival.

Sure not all the days were literally sunny, but we like to think that the skies shined great arts, culture, literature, and ideas on the city instead. Indian Summer Festival brought together a mix of international actors, poets, artists, writers, musicians and thinkers for an inspiring ten days of arts and culture, which began with a swanky opening featuring the who’s who of Vancouver’s South Asian community, and culinary delights curated by celebrity chef Vikram Vij.
