Indian designer Manish Arora is known for his abstract, over-the-top, colourful collections – his recent show at Paris Fashion Week in February 2012 was a bright, neon show inspired by graffiti. But the two collections he created for Paco Rabanne were a departure from what we’ve grown to expect from the designer.
Instead of bright pinks and greens, we saw metallics and black leather details on the runway. His collections for Paco Rabanne were more sophisticated, and what we would expect at Paris Fashion Week.

Leather, fur, and metallics were key features at the Manish Arora for Paco Rabanne show at Paris Fashion Week. This collection was markedly different from Manish’s personal show at the same fashion week, and his futuristic, disco inspired show for Paco Rabanne at the Spring Summer 2012 Paris Fashion Week.
