The Queen of Talk is in India to shoot episodes for her OWN series, Next Chapter, and attend the Jaipur Literature Festival. Read our O style report here.

First, Ms. O was spotted in an original, custom-made sari by Tarun Tahiliani. The sari received lots of flack online (although in India they seemed to love it), but in our eyes, Oprah is awesome in whatever she wears – she’s the Queen of the World, right? Oprah is seen below with her Indian BFFs, new mommy, actor and model Aishwarya Rai and the rest of the Bachhan familia.

Before heading to the Taj Mahal and Jaipur, Oprah stopped by Sabyasachi’s new shop in Mumbai to do some shopping. The Sabyasachi by Sabyasachi boutique carries contemporary clothing that marries international trends and Indian design and craftsmanship. Seriously love.

Next, Oprah was seen in a blue kurta top and longer kurta/caftan. Oprah isn’t know for her fashion prowess, but props to her for wearing Indian clothing and designers while in the country.

At the Jaipur Literature Festival, Oprah wowed audiences with her wit, literary love and childhood stories. She caught our eye in this beautiful Sabyasachi sari.

O told audiences that Gregory David Roberts’ 2003 bestseller “Shantaram”, was one of her favourite Indian novels. Hmm, we couldn’t get passed the first few chapters of Shantaram, maybe we should try reading it again?
