Taking a cue from Prabal Gurung’s gorgeous Fall 2014 Ready-to-Wear collection, we’re planning on spending next autumn wrapped in saffron and grey cashmere shawls from Nepal.
Inspired by the Mustang region of Prabal Gurung’s native country, Nepal, this collection expanded on what we’ve grown to love from the young designer: sharp tailoring, soft draping and an intuitive connection to his South Asian heritage.
Prabal Gurung shared photographs that inspired his Fall 2014 collection on Instagram.
Key trends: Bright shades of red, coral and teal, tempered by greys and navy. Lace, lamb wool coats, fitted bodices, wraps, shawls, chiffon, fur and cashmere are key silhouettes and fabrics from the runway.
We just love the high-necked, long sleeved gowns with fitted bodices, and flowing, peekaboo chiffon skirts. Perfection.
