Satin pyjamas, a Britney Spears-inspired Armani gown and shorts on the red carpet. Find out who made our best and worst dressed list from the 2014 Oscars.

Our favourite moments from this year’s Academy Awards include Pharell William’s singing and dancing with A-list celebrities like Meryl Streep, the infamous celebrity selfie, and Lupita N’Yong’o’s lovely, graceful acceptance speech. And of course, the red carpet style.
Herewith, our Annual Best and Worst Dressed List at the Oscars:
We all know Whoopi Goldberg is no slave to fashion in this black strapless gown paired with a white shirt that was reminiscent of Julia Robert’s ensemble at this year’s Golden Globes.
Liza Minnelli took matching accessories too far when she sported a blue streak in her hair to coordinate with her blue Halston pantsuit, but why the plain black shoes? This look reminded us of a grandmother-of-the-bride outfit.
We all knew Pharrell Williams was going to push the boat when he showed up on the red carpet wearing a Lanvin tuxedo with shorts. But come on this is the Academy Awards not the Grammys!
Emma Watson’s metallic Vera Wang gown was a bit drab for our liking. We expected something more eye-catching from this 23 year old.
We took a double take when Margot Robbie walked the red carpet debuting her new brunette look. The black Saint Laurent gown along with the heavy makeup was a bit too gothic for our liking.
All eyes were on Camila Alves who looked absolutely sensational in a pale pink Gabriela Cadena gown. The blush colour was perfection against her skin.
Charlize Theron must be an alien; can anything look bad on her? We think impossible. We loved this dramatic black Dior gown from all angles.
Not to our surprise Cate Blanchett took home the Best Actress and Best Dressed in a nude Armani Privé beaded gown.
Angelina Jolie was a vision in a heavily embroidered Elie Saab gown, utter perfection.
Designers were fighting to dress Lupita Nyong’o who looked like Cinderella at the Academy Awards. Lupita said she had input on the pale blue Prada gown, which was inspired by champagne bubbles.
Best Dressed Couple: Matthew McConaughey in Dolce and Gabbana and Camila Alves in Gabriela Cadena.
Best Dressed Bump goes to Olivia Wilde in Valentino.
