At a fete for mostly blond women (seriously, it’s like only the blond actresses showed up!), we spotted A-listers Sarah Jessica Parker, Carey Mulligan and Gwyneth Paltrow dazzling in Tiffany & Co. diamonds.
The exclusive Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Ball was held at the Rockefeller Centre in New York last week, where a bevy of models and actresses wore pieces from the 2013 Blue Book Collection, inspired by the 1920s Jazz Age. Think Art Deco design, drop earrings and diamonds – diamonds everywhere. Next week, we’ll have a special look at the jewelry from the film and some more affordable pieces we think will become treasured pieces in your jewelry collection (they’ll be great with your cocktail dress, business suit and sari).

Why all the sudden love for Art Deco design and flapper dresses? Tiffany & Co. thrived during the 20s, so it’s no wonder why the company was selected to work on jewelry for Baz Luhrmann’s film adaptation of The Great Gatsby, set during the era that changed fashion, design and music. Expect some stunning pieces on Carey Mulligan and Isla Fisher when the film hits theatres on May 10, 2013.
