Finding new friends as an adult can be challenging, but we’ve found just the thing to help you out. The BYOBF Network is hosting its first networking event for South Asian women in Vancouver, and Jugni Style will be there.

No cheesy get-to-know-you games here. Entrepreneurs, working moms and professionals will all convene for cocktails and chats, while BYOBF founders Manpreet Dhillon and Sukhi Ghuman facilitate and set the ground rules.

Why attend?

The event is a great place to meet new friends, strike up a new business relationship, and drink a great cocktail (we’re in!). Future networking events will feature workshops and talks so you’ll take away some valuable information too.

The Creds

The co-founders are active volunteers who serve on non-profit boards, are entrepreneurs, and are recognized as experts in their professional fields too. Sukhi Ghuman, one of our own Jugni Style writers (hurrah!), is a marketing specialist, PR maven, photographer, and former television host, while co-founder Manpreet Dhillon runs her own coaching business, consults non-profits on business practices, and works in organizational management. Both women serve on the Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration Society board of directors, have travelled the world, and have personal networks that any woman will covet.

Where to Go

The official launch and first networking event takes place on Thursday, March 29 at 8:00 p.m. at Ginger 62, located at 1219 Granville Street in Vancouver.
