Whether you were lucky enough to snag a show ticket, an invite to the parties or will be watching from the comfort of your comfy couch, channel front row style with our picks for what to wear inspired by the fashion set.

The style blogger

Never afraid to make a statement, bloggers attract photographers with a love of clashing prints, color and daring accessories.

Try: Raiding your mother’s (or grandmother’s) accessories drawer and pair a tribal Indian choker with bright dress. Or wear bold, clashing prints with a theme, an armful of bracelets and studded boots.

Avoid: The minimalist look, all black and most importantly, trying too hard.

The fashion editor

The most important on the front row, channel their look with refined, pull together looks that are still creative.

Try: Silk blouses with skinny pants or leather shorts, maxi skirts with tailored shirts or a leather dress. Put on some statement shoes and don’t forget the sunglasses.

Avoid: Over accessorizing, matching everything and hoodies.

The celebrity muse

Designers cite stylish celebrities as their inspiration, naming dresses and accessories after them. With every pair of eyes in the room on them, they definitely need to bring on the style quotient.

Try: Colour blocked dresses, exotic textures and of course, something from the designer.

Avoid: A sparkly head to toe look, the focus still needs to be on the runaway. Wearing too much of another designer, micro minis and venturing far from your signature style.

The model

Models as well known today for their runaway walk as they are for their laid-back backstage style.

Try: Skinny jeans with a luxurious cashmere t-shirt, bright lipstick and pumps. Mix up proportions with oversized cardigans. Try rocker chic looks with metallic accents on accessories and dark nail polish.

Avoid: Too many trends at once and anything uncomfortable or fussy.
