Lovers of gold and shiny things, rejoice. Anna Dello Russo, Tommy Ton muse and fashion idol, has collaborated with high street shop, H&M, on a one-of-a-kind collection of jewelry. With lots and lots of gold.
The collection doesn’t launch until October 4, 2012, but in the meantime, we have a sneak peak at the ah-mazing jewelry, sunglasses, bags, and shoes. See below, and be dazzled. While we love summer, October can’t come soon enough.
For those of you who don’t know Anna Dello Russo, she is Editor-At-Large for Vogue Japan, former fashion editor at Vogue Italia, a staple at international fashion weeks, and was famously described by photographer Helmut Newton as a “fashion maniac.”
“I am excited by this collaboration: this is the first time H&M has involved a fashion director in a special project. I wanted to create precious accessories that are impossible to find. As a stylist, I know accessorization is essential; it is the personal touch in any outfit. With these pieces, everybody can have fun, and turn an ordinary day into a fantastic fashion day”, says Anna Dello Russo.
This collaboration comes on the heels of MAC Cosmetics’ announcement of a makeup collection designed by former Vogue Paris Editor-In-Chief, Carine Roitfeld. Designers, watch out, looks like fashion editors are usurping your role for high street collaborations.
