Fall trends making no sense? Have you been asking yourself, what's an Ikat print? Aren't maxis a type of pad? And how do I wear coloured blocks? We're here to help.

If you saw our Fall 2011 Trends story, you may be wondering, um, how do I actually wear those gorgeous clothes when I'm not 6' tall and 110 lbs? No worries, thanks to the lovely ladies at Ishara Boutique, who've put together some fabulous outfits that will take you from runway to the office, to an evening out with your ladies.

Prints, Midi-length and Rocker

Tribal and boho prints are still going strong this season, and a great way to incorporate it into your wardrobe is a top like the one above. Pair with a tailored, mid-length pencil skirt, patent black pumps and a tuxedo jacket or cashmere sweater for day, and drop the jacket and add higher heels or skinny jeans for the evening. This Rebecca Minkoff bag combines a classic structure with rocker chic metallic embellishments that make it great for work and play.

Jewel tones are also big this season. This cozy, bright cardigan from White and Warren is a great piece to add a pop of jewel colour to your outfit. And don't be afraid of colour, it looks great with darker shades of skin.

Prints, Coloured Denim and Oversize Jackets

Tackle two Fall trends with this sleek outfit: oversized clothing and prints. Throw this coat on over everything: dress, jeans, tshirt, sweater, casual, dressed up. I love this coat! The print makes it easy to dress up and dress down, making it a perfect compliment to a bright red dress or a light sweater and skinny jeans like above.

Coloured denim and corduroys are also big, says Ishara's ever-so-fashionable Amrit. Go bold with coloured denim skinny jeans, or less bold with black skinny cords paired with the above coat and bright bag from Rebecca Minkoff.

Maxi Dress, Prints and Gold Jewelry

The longer hemlines seen on the runway are perfect for Fall dressing. Try pairing a maxi dress or skirt with a light cashmere cardigan and layered gold jewelry for a boho chic look like above. And prints aren't restricted to tops and dresses; a printed skirt paired with a solid top or even a contrasting print top can add an interesting dimension to your look.

Tip: Transition your summer maxi dress into fall with a chunky knit sweater and chunky heeled, knee-length leather boots.

Colour Block with Accessories

We keep hearing about colour blocking, but what if you don't want to wear a hot pink blouse with orange pants? The key is to incorporate more colour through accessories. An orange bag with metal detailing adds bold colour without going crazy.

Animal Prints

Bring out the sexy maven in you with an animal print maxi dress. Too much print? Opt for a leopard print scarf, gloves or belt like above, which is still on trend and easy to pull off.

I love this cape and the black belted shirt dress above!
