Jugni Style founders Manjot Bains and Joti Dhesi are scouring Toronto's streets and A-list parties this week, looking for their favourite Bollywood fashionista, Sonam Kapoor. Follow their exploits as they travel to Toronto's hot spots, restos, high street and designer boutiques, and the IIFA Green Carpets. Do they find Sonam? Or Arjun Rampal, their second love? Tune in to find out.

Desperately Seeking Sonam: Day 2

Mayhem! Joti has a serious childhood crush on Anil Kapoor, so thought we'd head over to the Fairmont Royal York for a meet and greet – and to see if Sonam hitched a ride with her dad from India. But apparently all of Toronto had the same idea! Didn't glimpse Mr. India, but did spy director/producer dynamo Ramesh Sippy, the man behind THE Sholay. Also spotted: Anupam Kher, Kabir Bedi, some Indian TV host, and Arshad Warsi, with Anupam looking like he desperately wanted to be left alone (so unlike his happy father role in DDLJ, more like mean father role in Rang De Basanti).

I am loving The Bay's IIFA window displays. Faceless mannequins in various poses, sporting Indian and Canadian fashion while Bollywood music plays from above. It's worth pushing past the pedestrian commuter traffic for, if not just to be serenaded by Mere Sapno Ki Rani over the outdoor speakers.

Still on the lookout for Sonam, so I headed up to Yorkville again to checkout the places I thought she'd like to visit, including the aforementioned Indiva, as well as amazing Canadian designer, Pink Tartan. Was distracted by the MAC Bollywood display (one track mind – makeup!), but did spy this adorable chocolate shop that Sonam would adore. Moroco is pretty, purple + white and secluded enough from  the riff raff tourists in Yorkville, providing the perfect place for the Kapoor sisters to dish on IIFA gossip and nibble on truffles while sharing their luxe purchases.

Next stop, a rooftop patio, a ritzy patio and Bollywood panel with Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Lisa Ray and Kabir Bedi. Maybe they've seen Sonam?
