Tune in to find out.
Desperately Seeking Sonam: Day 3
First official day of IIFA Weekend. Hotel is bumping with international media and Bollywood stars trying to discreetly leave the building. Younger "it" Bollywood stars are staying at the Thompson, but IIFA ambassadors/friends were at theFairmont Royal York for the IIFA Weekend press conference. Still no Sonam sightings. Twitterverse claims she's not coming to Toronto, but we're keeping our hopes up! Photographs from this afternoon below. More to come soon. xo.
The Style: Not really that amazing, but Bipasha (left) in her metallic mini with taffeta ruffles on her right hip looked pretty, although we're not fans of the hair extensions. Mallaika Sherawat, known for her serious fashion absurdities (okay, straight up slutty attire) chose a surprisingly nice sari in shades of cream and gold to wear to the event. And soulful singer Sonu Nigam caught our eye with his crisp Nehru-style jacket and brown booties (do we call them that for men?). Below, Dia Mirza looked adorable in a knee-length pleated cream dress paired with a black belt and heels. Comedian Boman Irani was dapper in his linen jacket and 40s era hat.
Heading off to the Ritz + more tonight. Will keep you posted on more developments re: Sonam et al. For more photos from the IIFA Weekend Press Conference, including one with Riteish Deshmukh's exposed chest, visit our Facebook page (and show some love, like us!).
