Simple tips, tricks and fixes to help you stay on track with this season’s hottest trends.
One of my friends asked me the other day, “How do I make my skin glow like the models on fashion TV? What product do they use to get glowing skin?” After researching I found out that make-up artists use illuminators instead/with foundation to get a gleaming effect. As simple as that!

JugniStyle Loves: Nars Illuminator ‘Super Orgasm’ or Copacabana.
Instead of buying new lipsticks, layer your existing shades to create a matte effect. Apply pressed powder on your regular shiny or glossy lipstick and remove shine by using blotting paper over your powdered lips. The powder pulls out the oil from the lipstick, and you’re left with a deep, matte stain, which is exactly the kind of effect a matte lipstick gives.
On the runway: Jason Wu Spring/Summer 2012
JugniStyle Loves: The Body Shop Extra Virgin Minerals Powder Foundation
Master the “no-make-up” make-up look. Use a makeup brush to put on liquid foundation; the bristles evenly distribute the foundation, so you get a soft veil of coverage. When going over tricky areas like under the eyes or around the nose, squeeze the tip to flatten the edge to smooth out lines.
On the runway: Chloe Spring/Summer 2012
JugniStyle Loves: Lancôme Foundation Brush #2
This trend may seem a little too experimental for your daily needs but believe me it’s not. If you’d like to try it just dust your favourite bright coloured eye shadow over your lids. Outline the inner corner of your eyes with an eye pencil of the same colour as your eye shadow. Add a touch of Vaseline or any lip balm for a glossy effect.
On the runway: Yigal Azrouel Spring/Summer 2012
JugniStyle Loves: Smith’s Rosebud Salve.
At Louis Vuitton this season the makeup artist created lashes by layering 10 different-sizes of falsies on every model. Translate the runway to street chic by skipping the fake lashes. Instead curl your lashes and then follow with three coats of mascara, starting at the roots and wiggling upward.

JugniStyle Loves: Guerlain Noir G Mascara
Custom-designed Minx nail-polish strips were spotted at Alexander Mcqueen and Missoni, proving minx is a must-try trend. Minx nails are best done by a professional nail artist. But if you would like to mirror this runway trend, try nail wraps.
