We cannot stop listening to “Save the World!” A breath of fresh air, this techno track loses the balle balle’s and shava shava’s of Punjabi music, in favour of a song that is contemporary in its sound and feel.
RDB‘s Nindy Kaur collaborated with Montreal-based Culture Shock on this Canadian song that has us on our feet and dancing at the Jugni Style offices. Reminds us of the RDB golden years in the early and mid-2000s when songs (ie. albums like Danger, Rhythm Dhol Bass, Sounds of the North) were innovative and challenged BritAsian and Bhangra music norms. Cheers to new tunes!
