It's no secret, we LOVE Sonam Kapoor. This past June, we searched for her at every hot spot, resto and designer boutique during the IIFA Awards, but sadly she didn't grace T-dot with her presence (we did spot her gorgeous sister, Rhea Kapoor, with stylist Pernia Qureshi, backstage at IIFA Rocks). But fate has turned, and we hear that our favourite starlet will be in Toronto for the world premiere of her film, Mausam at TIFF. The search continues.

Crushed by the news that Mausam will no longer premiere at TIFF due to Indian censor board troubles. Had to drink a medium chai latte AND a chocolate croissant to recover. Pain.

We're still hoping Sonam shows up in Toronto (maybe her first class tickets were nonrefundable?). So on with the search. A few nights back, a slew of stars hit up The Hudson Bay Company's exclusive party for Madonna's movie, W.E., replete with a colonial striped carpet. When did The Bay become cool? Under the sharp eyes of CEO Bonnie Brooks, the department store has transformed into The Hudson's Bay Company, with the swanky, exclusive boutique, The Room, hosting some of the world's biggest stars. Sonam would love their collection of designer goods and beautiful vintage dresses, tucked away in the HBC vaults. We saw this gorgeous vintage Elizabeth Mason Couture dress (above) over the summer and think Sonam would love it.

And wouldn't this white Alaia frock (left) look divine on her? These gorgeous Barbara Bui gold leather pants had us drooling! Paired with a black silk tank, it's perfect for a night out at the Soho House pop-up at TIFF.

In other news, we heard that uber Mumbai fashionista/interior designer/Bollywood trophy wife, Twinkle Khanna, was in town supporting hubby Akshay Kumar's production, Breakaway. Twinkle is known for her understated, well-tailored attire, and favours designers like Abu Jani + Sandeep Khosla, Anamika Khanna, and Herve Leger. Both Akshay and T, or Akshinkle (okay, that doesn't really work) wore Indian designers Abu-Sandeep to the world premiere of Breakaway.

Back to Sonam. Super, super cute. If you are a huge Sonam fan like us, checkout her YouTube channel where she posts little videos of herself on the road.

And the search continues…
